05 BMW 330i or 05 MB C Class?

Please vote on what I should get now...

i loved the G but i feel like i need to grow up. i am also on a minimalistic phase so i feel like the a5 is out of the question right now.
here are my stipulations (ideally)...

german
4 doors
better gas mileage
smaller car payment

i found an 05 bmw 330i sedan M package with 40k miles for $25k
i found an 05 mercedes c240 kompressor sport with 35k miles for $21k





they are both automatics btw. and i know the G is faster and handles better and etc etc. i am looking for something a little more classy, less flashy, but still nice.

If you want the classiest, get the Benz.

no question....the bimmer. that mb is one of the lowest models you can get.

I think you'll have somewhat better reliability with the BMW. I don't think that either is necessarily classier than the other. Classiness is a very subjective quality with strong opinions all around.

well i drove both. the bmw is LOADED... suede steering wheel, wood, seat extension thingies... but higher miles and $5k more... not sure if it's worth it. the bmw is faster and more fun but i like the subtle classiness of the benz. keep the votes coming.

if they were the same price with the same miles, i would get the bmw hands down. but the benz is pretty damn close that those higher #'s on the bimmer might change my mind.

if it wasn't for the M package though, the 330 wouldn't even be in contention.

About 2 months ago...my brother bought an 05 C55 AMG w/ 20k miles for 29k. I suggest you look at the 05 C55's..........

I would get the 06-07 C class. Those have the AMG body kits and lip spoiler and the nicer staggered wheels. You can get those go 25 or less.

wait i think i saw one today. u talking about the one with the ~6 spoke wheels that have more squared spokes? rear ones were definitely staggered on the one i saw.

Get the Bimmer!!! It's got the coveted ZHP sports package, which means bigger wheels, brakes, stiffer suspension, higher ratio steering rack, and more. Red isn't my color, but hey it's better than a C class. The 3 series is an outright BMW, the C class is, and has been till the current car, a wanna be MB. Cheap interior materials and it looks like a toad. Go with the bimmer if you like sports. That ZHP 3 series is an awsome sports sedan. You won't be dissapointed.

Yeah agreed...but that Beamer says "i couldnt afford the M3, but i'll act like i have one anyways"

That 06-07 benz has that touch of sportiness and that MB class that makes the ladies wet.
