not sure cause you had a b5. this kompressor is def. slower than my 5MT 1.8t b6 audi. once it gets going, it's not so bad. but it does 0-60 in almost 8 secs and 1/4 mile in 16 sec. if that puts it in perspective.

i do like the cross drilled rotors on the benz tho.

i agree with what zero just said. the benz fits your descrip perfectly and if you buy the bimmer then you are looking for too much.

ive driven the benz you are talking about and it only feels slow compared to the bimmer. once you drive it all the time youll be comfortable with it.

plus he is driving his G to the dealership...driving the G and then getting right in the benz is like being punched in the balls...it hurts!

i can imagine the benz's sluggishness growing on me. im kind of concerned though on how it would drive with 3 other people in the car...

it shouldnt be bad. Im telling you its not that slow. plus you are looking for something a little tamer so you should expect a little slower car.

if you want smooth and relaxed, the benz is exactly that.
if it helps you, that is exactly what I would buy if I were looking for that in a car. either that or an audi.

I only still want the G cuz I havent owned a car for a long period of time before and I want to get my thrills before I hang it up ya kno.

otherwise I'd be looking into the sedan market as well (or id make the girl buy the sedan )

i think you should reverse the order. drive the slower car first and then the faster one. see if the bimmer gives you a more "refreshing" feeling. if not then the choice is obvious
