if this looks similar to anything, it'd be a 335i coupe tail end... def not the honduh! it's ok, carolina fans are slow. just take your time and compare the 2.

A4 looks like a cross from a 335 sedan and a New EVO...except both the cars i just mentioned actually come with combustable engines and arent made out of lead.

but im only being patient cuz I have bigger plans than just buying a G. a couple of investments I plan on making in the upcoming year or so. So I have to be frugal for as long as I can stand it

On top of that, if you are serious about reducing your payment and increasing gas milage to a point where it is actually beneficial to you (especially if you are upside down on our loan like I was), you will have to either put down a significant sum of money along with your trade, look for an auto that is significantly cheaper in value from your G, give up the German dream and look at some japanese compacts, or a reasonable combination of the two.
I agree with what you said here. aside from the "bitch factor" if those are the cars he wants them let him rock. he's a grown man

my bank has offered to refi the G (not extend the loan, just refi @ a lower rate) which would save me almost $50.00 per month... so i think i am just going to do that for now. i spotted pics of the new 09 a4 and WOW... more than likely i will trade in the fall or winter for either an a4 or a5/s5...
that sounds like a good idea to me. take the refi and relax a bit. maybe you can save a higher downpayment to get into the car you really want

No one is discouraging him from being a bitch!! To each his own.. if these are the cars he likes I support him 100% in whatever he choses. He asked for feedback I offered some. However, he's NOT a grown man...he's a Duke fan. BIG DIFFERENCE..
well i have had a lot of time to think it over. the one dealer that has the 330i called today and have a 525i (new body style) that they can sell to me at the price i was looking for...
but like i said before, i am pretty sure i will just refi my car, save about $50 a month on that, and save that and my pennies for that new a4.
the a4 will meet all of my criteria, plus it will be brand new which is even better - considering i was looking at 2 cars that are already 'previous body styles.'
