Trial by mail with a written declaration
So here is the story...
Its New Years Eve and i am on my way up to pick up my girlfriend from her house. Its already dark, and the roads that lead up to her house have no street lights. I come up to a stop sign at a fork in the road (which i have came up 403984209 times in the past 4 years) and i happen to slow down and roll through it and make a right turn. I didnt fly through it, since there is a dip there, i just plain slowed (5pm tops) and made a right turn. The cop is on the other road (the road if i made a left at the fork) roughly 300 feet away with his lights off just sitting there. As soon as i went through the intersection, he turned on his lights and came after me. He pulled me over, asked me for my paperwork and i gave it to him. He asks me what i did and i play dumb and say I HAVE NO CLUE WHY HE PULLED ME OVER, then he says i blew right through the stop sign. The doosh walks back to his car and writes me my ticket and gives it to me. The ticket is for not stopping at a stop sign.
So here is my ordeal, i have received a ticket and took traffic school roughly 6 months ago, so i can not take traffic school for this. I am planning on doing a "trail by mail with a written declaration", but i have no clue what i should write so that i can get off the hook. All of my friends who have done this got off the hook cause the cop didnt do his part of this ordeal, but i dont want to take the chance of him doing it so i want to have a strong story. Anyone have ideas to help me with this??
CLIFFS:
-Got a stop sign ticket, rolled the stop sign
-cant take traffic school again since i got a ticket 6 months ago and took traffic school then
-have to fight this ticket so my insurance doesnt go up and so i dont have to pay for the ticket
-going to use "trail by mail with a written declaration"
-no clue what to write in the declaration so need help
-anyone have ideas on what i should write???
