and the base model has pretty much every creature comfort you could ask for. the only real options are nav/reverse cam, upgraded/colored leather, upgraded bang and olufson audio...

again, we're talking a couple tenths of a second, for 10-20k more. most ppl aren't going to be so concerned. if they were, they wouldn't go for the c55 when the srt8 is just as fast for 1/2 the price.

depends on the AMG. I am sure you know that a C55 will turn no heads here in Wilmington. Every other car you see here is a MB C class - and aesthetically, the C55 is nothing special.

Apparently you have not ever seen or know about a C55...i didn't til i got the skinny from an owner as they look meaner and bigger than a c class. It is the ONLY model that ever had a frame adjustment that AMG built. The car is 5 inches longer than a regular C class....because they put the CLK 55 front end on the C55 to make the V8 fit under the hood. They also flared out the rear fenders to fit the wider track. Car looks a lot sleeker with the extra length and meaner with the lower wider stance. The first and only one i saw turned my head...as i could tell there was something different about it. They are rare as hell. The ///AMG badge lets you know 2 things 1. the driver paid 30k over the regular c class...and 2. this fucker is fast as hell.
