Say, anyone know what happened to G35 Driver? I know it was sold, but now it's offline, hmmmmm
I heard that the Nissan Altima owners got together, collected money to buy the G35 site out. They didn't like being the under dog for too long I guess.

G35driver, Myg37 and etc. was sold back in November. The changeover was offical 2 weeks ago. And now, its closed.
So, it's gone, really? Do you know if it's for good? I kind of wondered if it would still be around after that! Even though the "owner" said it wouldn't be affected by the sale, geez..................Oh, and I'm not really a stranger here, been a member for a couple of years now!

So when a site goes down, what happens to everybody's private information (such as email addresses and anything else?) Does this information get resold to data miners who in turn sell your email address and other info for profit??? I hate spam, and I would hate to think that I would suddenly begin to receive spam at my recorded email address because of it.

Think of it this way - I had some pretty important contact information there and now I cannot access it. Or if they decide to redo the whole forums, then all that information is lost. Unless something was hacked and it was beyond their control, I'd say they've lost my trust.
I'm sure there are others who feel the same way, especially when they're on their way to buying a G37 at a great price! Some people need all the help they can get.
