My heart was set on a CTS-V. My uncle owns a few dealerships in Cincy and he always gets me my cars. I went to pickup my 06 CTS-V with 15k miles for 28,000.....i drove it and we have a problem. The car accelerates like no 4 door i've driven, and it also had solid firm brakes....but the car did not handle even up to my expectations (which aren't much) and the interior was had to be the cheapest of any car on the market for any car that is over 55k new. I did not buy the car....even with the 100k 6yr warranty...i couldn't do it.
So guys help me out.....i am looking for a small 4 door or 4 seat coupe. S4 doesn't have the power i'm looking for, the C55 seems to be the best mix of handling and acceleration but to me it kinda has that C class bitch car appeal..M3 is outta the question..i would get a 335i but my wifes lease runs out on her 330i on Dec 31st and that is what she is getting next.
hmm i could have told you about the cts interior... it looks like garbage. the c class is uncomfortable to drive. i'm a pretty skinny kid and i found myself bumping my elbows on the door panel all the time.
my a4 was really comfy to drive but if you need more power... hmm
what about an RS6? they are pretty quick, but i dont really care for their looks compared to the S4/RS4...

agreed with the Audi cosmetics....but for 70k for the Rs4 that is not a good deal for what it is. My Z06 cost that. I'm thinking that the C55 might be my best bet.
Just make sure you give it a good test drive... they are quick but like i said, uncomfortable for me. just my opinion. why not an e55 or e63?
Its REALLY hard to find an E55 with low miles, so under 30k. And i'm running low on time. The C55 price plummeted with the release of the new C class....50k down to now low 30's. The current E55 and 63 are the same body, the new E class doesnt come out for another year...i dont want to be the guy that paid 48k for an E55 and the price goes to 28k in one year.
IS350 is a good bargain for the money. That and the 3 series. As always if you expect to keep the car for an extended period of time dump the bimmer at least 1 year before the end of warranty.
Performance sedans are not necessarily easy to come by. I like the idea of the RS4 also.
