My baby, 1966 Austin Healey 3000 Mark III. Color British Racing Green.
Straight 6 cylinder, 2 SU carbs and electric overdrive.
Talk about regrets!
Last I looked this car in great condition will sell about the same price as a new G coupe.
ROFL I wish that was my supra...kinda...but kinda not. Too much hype around the MKIV's. Here's a link to a BUNCH of pics of my supe. It was a 1990, turbo, targa, automatic (boo).
OHH! And nice Austin! That car is GORGEOUS. Funny, I just watched the episode of Home Improvement where Jill buys an AH Did you sell it? Wreck it? Trade it? Give it away?
My first new car: 1966 Mustang GT 2+2 fastback with all the options. Shipped it to Japan and sold it to my crew chief when I left for the states. He had orders to Las Vegas to join the Thunderbirds. Never saw either of them again.

It was a long time ago, I was way younger and getting married. The future wife was brow beating me as the car would suck money from me like a vacuum.
In the sake of marriage, I sold it. Now I rub it in her face when I pick up those books in the super market, the mags that sell rare and vintage cars. I enjoy showing her price stickers 32, 34, 38K for the car. I like to remind her why I sold it. That's what marriage is all about....stikin' it her. heehee
You will not only see the Healey in those episodes from Home Improvement but Steve Martin in "Father Of The Bride" drove the same car.
I miss it like an old girlfriend that I let slip away...and shouldn't have.
I will forever regret selling my '77 Gremlin coupumathingie. Metalic green with yellow pinstripping. 13" chrome wire wheels with white wall tires. Side exhaust with detuned stock motor courtesy of Juan the newbie mechanic down the block. Plush velour interior with tiger stripe faux sheep skin seat covers. Brand spank'n new Pepboys A-track deck. And, of course, 7" disco ball hang'n from the rear view. Ahhh... regrets...

I don't have a photo nearby to download. That car is one I grabbed from the net. Same as mine, 66 in British Racing Green. Hell, as far as I know that could be my car and the lucky SOB that bought from me is showing it off. It hurts every time I think about it getting away from me.
Funny, I also looked at the car next to it and wondered what it was.
