Drove a 335i coupe.....

Took the woman's 06 330i sedan in for an oil change today and talked a salesman into letting me drive a 335i coupe. I hate BMW's always have always will...but i wondered why i have seen 100 new 335i's to 0 G37's. I found out why today. Hard for me to do this but........the car was great. Acceleration is outstanding, braking is unbelievable, handling was solid. Having already driven the G37...the ONLY reason a person would buy a G37 would be because they couldn't afford a 335. Fuck those cars, i still hate them.

i too have seen countless 335's and only 1 g37.

strange thing though, in previous model years i would see way more of the standard 3 series coupes (323, 325, 328's) however with these new ones, almost all that i see are 335's... i have seen a couple 328's but not many.

I never thought about it but I too have seen more 335's than G37's. I'm looking to get a 335 coupe next summer.

i wonder if that salesguy ended up selling g37s for $10 grand over sticker like he said they were going to??? he hasn't posted since they hit the dealerships.

You can lease a loaded G37 for 529 a month with 2500 down for 36 months. With the way they are not selling by next May you will be able to get one for 500 even a month with $0 down....no BS.

I honestly still dont understand that MT article. They praised the 335 more so than the G37 but somehow they ranked the G37 higher in the end.

style wise, the 335 looks very.. ehhh, bmw-ish. not much shock and awe value. not that the 37 is doing any better, but at least the 37 still has features that remind you of the 35... a little.


what really kills the 37 is the performance of the 335. my goodness, the guys at bmw must've been PISSED when they saw the sales numbers the 35 put up in 02 - 06
