Default Official Pontiac G8 specs+prices

G8 in Dealerworld - Pontiac G8 forums / new GTO forums- G8power.com

just read through this and apparently the g8 gt will be 29k base
with a 361 hp and 385 torque v8. pretty food.

its a shame a manual won't be offered!

Looks like a great car.

It's a shame that, again, American engineers and designers can't design something that will compete with foreign models. So what do they do? They have foreigners design and build a car so they can bring it over and stick their tags on it.

Still think it's good that they're getting more competitive.

Caddy cts-v
Caddy Escalade
Ford GT
the new Dodge Challenger
Hummer
Yukon Denali
Chrystler 300
Dodge Magnum

no HIDs available... and 18" wheels are the largest? more pontiac junk. when will they learn that you can't just put a big *ss engine in an ugly, basic shell and expect to move units? just like the GTO... which i do have respect for, but it's all wrong.

eww... srt4 and cobalt are tacky as hell. i'd pick a vette or new GT mustang over those any day. cadillac's v-series are pretty good, as are chrysler-dodge's R/T's. (magnum, charger, 300C etc)

i actually was in the market for a 300c before i got my G. but after a few test drives, i realized i could not own one. they are so generic inside... worse than the G. and the handling just isnt there. the srt8 is prob better.

sorry...i forgot about the caddy cts-v. its a very strong look. same for escalade , H1 hummer, Challenger, and the denali.

I cant stand Chargers, magnums, or 300C's. all the dudes in the hood got one around here with 26 inch rims and it makes me sick! so i cant stand to see one anymore.

this is another reason i dont like them. the exterior styling is groundbreaking but the inside is just like every other american car.....plain. i want a lil more for my money

no, not really. the way that made this car with a more squared shape, lends itself to the styling of the BMW. otherwise the rest of them look like a pontiac
