alright, so last night an old 911 (late 80s early 90s, the classic looking ones) pulled up next to me at a light. we start off, i was not intending to race this old porsche but i'm accelerating faster than normal anyhow... when i switch to 2nd, i hear him chirp second (but his nose is at my passenger door)... so i floor it. by the time i go to switch to 3rd im ahead by like 1-2 car lengths so i let off, i had been drinking so ya know.
well then out of no where he goes FLYING by me... fast as shit.
so my question is, who would have won. i personally think i would have if i stayed in it, but my GF who was in the car laughed at me and said i got 'beat by an old porsche' i know nothing about older 911's though the only thing i can think is if there is a turbo model in that yr and it just had a lot of lag or something.
descrption: white (if that matters) old 911 targa top. no mods that i could see, no turbo noise or BOV noise either.

If it had a targa top it wasnt a turbo, you would have taken it. Those porsches had around 220hp, they were light but never ran better than mid 14's at best. You should have given it to him good. My greatest kill of all time was an early 90's 348 ferrari...i f ing killed this thing own the highway in my G last summer. That had to be humiliating.
Its nice that these days that affordable cars are able to run with the expensive more exotic ones.
FYI- guys do a fly by are normally te ones that have the slower car and know it
