I purchased a 6mt G coupe in October and it's my only means of transportation. I live in Pa and we got a little bit of snow last month which was a complete F'n nightmare. I have a little bit of money stashed away so the question is do I ask the dealer to buy back my car and purchase the AWD sedan or do I keep some money in my pocket and buy a piece of junk to get around in during crappy weather?
Personally I'd go with the second choice... the G35c is (in my opinion) far sexier and it will also keep its value longer then the G35 sedan... but it all depends on what you really want... I would personally keep the G35c and buy a beater to get around winter...
I own a G35x (w/plans to move to a snowier place) keep the coupe, get the best snow tires you can afford. Once winter is over, you will forget that you ever even considered AWD.

I agree, the coupe is too "fire" to replace with a sedan
The 6mt Sedan maybee faster than the 6mt Coupe. and the 5at Sedan is the lightest of the four different G's!
The coupe is sometimes considered the Sexiest car on the market (well, I believe)...the entire market!!! I mean, it is definetly not bad at all to have, the four door version of the sexiest car on the market! My friends comment about the look of my car, and I get a good share of stares on the road as well!
The sedan, by all means, is not a bad car at all! I was originally in the market for an SUV, or a Suburu. I basically bought a AWD car that...happpened to be pretty fast. (I didnt buy a slow G lol)
dammit....but I wish, I had a coupe as well. However, I dont thing I should be in my dream car yet....but a four door version of a dream car, hell! I ll take that no problem!

From what people say about G coupe with snow tires in the winter you should keep your G. I haven't had any experiences in the snow but I've read that the G handles fine with winter tires.
What the hell ever happened to thinking/planning ahead?! Were you so smitten on the showroom floor your knee jerked before your brain kicked in? The simple (and cheapest) answer is a winter tire/wheel package, just do it. Or have a higher insurance bill, twice the parking problem, and a mechanical and visual P.O.S to deal with half the year. Lol, after buying such a nice car, do you really want to drive around in a junker?
