i just checked out the videos on lexus.com for the is. here's how i see it:

take the gagues from the is(very bmw like with the mpg gague below the tach), and the seats from the g coupe, and you've got a car. the # of speakers in the is more than the g has, but if you know anything about sound, you know that simply adding speakers doesn't necessarily make things sound better. imo, 6 + a sub is probably the max i'd ever go with in a passenger car, and in the g i have a hard time not fighting the urge to just keep the damn thing off 'cause i love the way the car sounds when i'm driving it. also, i'd rather not have some supposed sound guru's name written on my dash. that looks ridiculous.

i believe this was said earlier, but i don't think you can really compare this car to a g coupe. they're totally different interior-wise. i'm 6' 180, so i fit perfectly in the coupe seats. i have no complaints about the comfort of my car, and everytime my girlfriend gets in it, she comments on how comfortable she is. i also had three passengers on new years eve, and everyone had plenty of room even with the front seat very far back(that damn black button was pissing me off. 'kinda embarassing to have trouble operating your own car's electronics).

if you want to compare this car to the g sedan, then i really don't see the g being able to hang 'cause that'd be more of an apples to apples comparisson(extra money aside). the guy looking at the g sedan probably would also be considering an is, but not a g coupe. they're both relatively quiet, and if you get a sedan, you get the normal seats anyways. the is wins easily there although the head rests look a bit large. the paddle shifting is sooooooooooooo stupid as well. i have a racing wheel for my xbox, and it's exactly the same. LAME!

to put is best, if you like to drive, buy a g coupe, and if you like to ride, buy the is. i love to drive, so my g is perfect for me. living life on what feels like a perpetual cruise control blows. it's no fun.

good luck. if you're single, and you don't have a family to cart around in your car, i bet you get the g. it'll be hard to say no.

LoL, i'm not trying to get on you or anything...just the car itself! It's a nice looking car, just wish it was a little more sporty and a little wider in the rear.

P.S. Jinetix "OFF TOPIC" why on my.is it says you had an RSX and here you had a G35? Not saying you're lieing, just kinda curious!
