Yah.. people like the lexus because it has a really silent/high performance v6 engine high . remember there are many types of drivers..
not everyone loves the engines roar and the exhaust purrr. haha .
but sadly the is350 would probably beat us in a straight line.. even though not as loud. and there pretty much the same price.. but the infiniti has a lot more luxury in it. compared to the is 350...

its actually a good competetor to the g35 sedan.. besides the fact that only the is250 comes in a manual but has a weaker engine.
since the price range also matches..

Agree. The quality of Infiniti compared to Lexus is not even a contest. The luxury level in Infiniti is subpar compared to other luxury cars like Acura, Lexus, and BMW.

ermmm once u go into a g35 then u go into a lexus im more comfortable with the g35... i didnt mean luxury as in better lazy people technology(aka keyless entry no key needed starting..)...
the luxury is different.. i like how the navi in the g35 is hidden.
the infiniti has the auto winshield wipers..[lasy person]
heated seats..
the g35 also has a better looking dash in general..
lexus has some sound absorbing sun deflectors. and thats about one of the only differences... the sound system. more speakers but i got after market speakers anyway...
the leather in the g35 feels better.
yes infiniti compared to lexusin general, lexus is more luxurious... but g35 vs is350.. i guess its your preferances.. but dont tell me supbar.. when they have almost exactly the same things...
comfortable... infiniti is by far better.... maybe its just my body form but it feels more built for "me" then a lexus. to much room i guess its a good thing if ur a little overweight like my brother.. cuz i remembered my srt-4 bucket seats he didnt really fit.. not to be mean haha.

Bmw is based on Luxury.. it doesnt have "regular" car company like honda/acura. nissan/infiniti, toyota/lexus

Acuras.. megh i dont like there cars much.. drove a tl felt like the lexus...

maybe its just me but there doesnt seem to be "soul" when they make their cars, feels plain. "im just putting luxury in here"...
especially bmw.. making the 3 series an affordable bmw... im not angry at them but it doesnt seem they tried to hard making the 3 series besides the fact that they wanted sales... but i have to admit the new bmw3 series looks awfully nice
i mean all bmws look the same from the front.. wheres there "soul" when they made that car..i love how the m series look. the fenders just "work"

im not trying to start a fight, but dont tell me its "more" luxurious just because there more famous, they have more sales then the g. and are known to be more "luxurious". the g35 actually competes against the 3 series in europe.

actually i think Lexus and Mercedes make the most refined interiors. and the classification of luxury make by these car companies is solely to satisfy the American market, because we are very stuck on lifestyle status and relating it to what you drive. in most other countrys they keep the same make. they focus more on what the vehicle has to offer than the "brand" name. for example, in some european countrys they use bmw's and mercedes for taxi's like we use chevy's here.

I think I would take the IS350 over the G35 Sedan all things being equal. Toyota design department is killing competitors with their styling alot like the new generation BMW's and that why I love the look of my Scion tC it similar lines to the new BMW 6-series Coupe.

But I LOVE the G35 Coupe more. Maybe someday I'll have one. Only decision is which color.

I think the new IS350 is amazing looking and the performance is also incredible...I saw one the other day and OMG driving next to it, made me like it even more...

Yah. my opinion g35coupe>is350>g35sedan in looks. and preferably what i would get... i only wish the is350 would come in a stick shift..

the lexus looks better IMO [front and back]
i mean new redesigned 3 series won the 35k$ sedan in car and driver..
but the lexus looks way better and is faster ^.^
it beat the lexus by one point

true but doesnt mean they're wrong..
but if it was off our opinion it would be a lot worse then car and driver...
and they actually get to test drive and get the feel for them. and they get a lot of info off of statistics..so it cant be to bad..

if i were to choose one for looks itd be the lexus,cts,tl, or beamer
