Just got my car back from the dealer for tints and an early servicing.

well, I dont know if I just noticed them more but there are rattlles everywhere!!! Did they have to remove the headliner to install the rear tint? I have a rattle in the rear driver side passenger light (which is mounted on the head liner) I have rattles on the "steel" door inserts on the rear doors. There are also more rattles in many undisclosed locations.

If I play the stereo loud...and the bass hits the a certain frequency than I get rattle rattles everywhere!!!!

When I move the rear view mirror is makes that sort of plastic rattle sound (when I squueze it)... I can move the center console if I apply some pressure to it...it also makes that plastic-y squeeze sound.

My steering wheel sound and cruise control can be pushed in a few directions a few centimeters as if it is not firmly secured.

Also, when I take a tight corner hard over...and if that corner has slight dip, my suspension goes SQUEEEK. Is that becuase the dealer washed the car? (yes they put swirls in my paint again...but I really dont care anymore)

my car has 3000 miles on it, it has been serviced only once just a few days ago(while they were installing the tints)

Is this normal G stuff? My loaner was a 2004 G35x with about 30,000 miles on it. it made the plastic sound everytime I took a corner to tight.

Do our cars just naturally rattle alot or should I call my dealer (which has a reputation of being BAD and complain)?

wow, that's quite a few rattles you have with only 3K miles on your car, sux. Avoid those potholes!!!

Some people went to the dealer and they temporarily had their rattles fixed. Rattles are a bi*@h to get rid of once you start having them. Go to the dealer and tell them about each one and see if they come back after a while. You should not have all these noises at 3K (well, unless you like going off-road or playing the game of "how many potholes can I go through today")

I have rattles coming from my center console and from the left driver's side door which are driving me nuts. These rattles are audible on slight bumps to uneven surfaces (don't need to drive over potholes). This is the worst fit-and-finish I have seen on any new car. I can't verbalize how disappointed I am with this car (G35 Coupe 6MT, 2006, 2500 miles ).

My driver's side seat was also making sounds and the dealer says the seat adjuster needs to be replaced.

I drove the car with my wife to show her but it doesn't seem to make the noise nearly as bad as when I'm alone. It sounds strange that the weight on the passenger side would make the sound go away.

I've got an appointment this week with the dealer to have the service manager drive the car alone to see if he can hear the sounds!!!

If I could I would return this car ASAP. My wife's car and my old car didn't make the sounds at all so I know there's something wrong with the fit-and-finish.
