3 weeks ago I decided I wanted HID on my civic. After researching, and looking at prices. I decided to go with a complete retrofit. I'll be taking apart my stock housing and putting in Valeo Dot H7 Projectors, usually found of the audi cars. To complement the projectors I'll be also adding H7 to D2S adapter rings, Phillips 5000k bulbs, OEM Matsushita Ballast and Ignitors(i believe these are used in the infinitis and nissans), and then probably xenondepot 9006 wiring harness.
Right now I have the projectors on my bed, I'll take pics later when theres more sunlight. I'm still waiting shipment on everything except the harness because I havent ordered it yet.
Hopefully when this project is complete I'll have a nice set of HID PROJECTORS in my car that light up the highway like non other. Total cost for everything?
115shipped Valeo Projectors
85shipped Bulbs
150shipped OEM Ballast and Ignitors
60shipped Wiring Harness
$410 Total Cost!!!!
Way better than just buying and HID kit.
WISH ME LUCK GUYS!!!
I'll post pictures as I slow work long.
I have pics of the door on my phone I think, lemme check give me link 5 mins and if I have it I'll upload it. I never did spray my rims, I wanna get the sleeper look.
hahhaha .... at first glance i thought it said you're looking for Aids. Good luck with the retrofit ... my friend did his accord but somehting went wrong after about a year and they stopped working
Yea the door is a big deal, and the worst part is the district rep was trying to make it sound like honda is being soo nice to fix this for u, its not even a big noticeable problem. I felt like bitch slappin her....
Here are the pics of all the stuff its all here....I'll be installing them within 3 weeks, cuz I got prom next weekend then malida party...no time...
The last two pictures are of a single projector, sorry about the color of the pics...my camera phone can't handle how bright everything is. The cutoff line is very sharp and very wide and bright. Pictures do it no justice....
