It doesn't effect the output at all
actually upclose if you look at the headlights when there on they have a purple hue to them

the tail lights look like dark smoke but is that a light smoke overlay u have on the headlights? just interested cause im lookin to get mine done and im tryin to figure out which wud look better on mine (black g37s)

Yeah the tail lights are darker, but not to dark
they had another overlay that was darker in the shop but I choose that one for a more classier look
it looks a little darker in the pics then it really does in person
