Hi all,
Picked up a nice juicy G37 last week. LOVING IT.
The one and I do mean one thing Im not loving is the way you have to encode music to the hard drive. You should just be able to copy MP3s over to it from the cd or the flash memory slot.
Anyone know if there is a hack for this?
Is the hard drive literally a standard hard drive? Can it be removed?
Anyone know where its located? Anyone know what the file system is?
I bought a 2GB CompactFlash card and threw in a bunch of songs.
I know it defeats the purpose of having a 10gig drive...
It doesnt answer your question but its an alternative.

A 2 gig card worked? I haven't tried using a high capacity card yet but word was that 512 was the largest size recognizable and if you used anything larger it would only register 512 of it. do you have more than 512megs of songs on it and do they all show up?
Does the reader support High Density card? I thought they were standard up to 1GB and then 2GB, 4GB, and up were high density which many readers choke on.
