whats goin on fellas I just picked up my new 6mT with navi..PEARL WHITE /BLK INTERIOR .and i love it!! just wanted to do a first post nothing special...ill post pics tomorrow....but i do have one question....
what do i have to do in order to watch video through my aux inputs while driving since it becomes disabled once the e brake is down...i thought i may have to put a switch on my VSS wire behind the dash but not sure...anyone for this infiniti noob?

Now... please tell me you're joking about this because it has to be one of the most assinine things I've heard in a long time...why not just read through the classifieds or the telephone book while you drive. For gods sake man, I could be the innocent driver next to you that gets taken out because of your need to watch a f*cking video!...WHILE YOU DRIVE!!!

I don't have the Navi, so I can't really help you there. I'm not going to hate on you after your first post though - and poor usually doesn't either. We all do shit we shouldn't do when driving, and we all try to keep it to a minimum. Still not as bad as the bitch behind you in the morning putting her makup on in the rear-view mirror!

OK Vic, sorry to come across so harshly, perhaps I interpreted your question too literally (understanding that YOU, the driver, wanted to watch while driving) and you were actually asking about operating the video so that someone else could watch while you drove, but didn't watch! If that is the case, I do sincerely appologize ... I didn't mean to be flaming on that; especially on your welcome posting!
However, if my initial, literal interpretation of your post was correct, then I stand by what I said ....I think you're nuts and I am offended for my own selfish interest of self-preservation given that I share the roads with you.
Back on topic, I believe that there is a built-in safety that prevents you from being able to view video while driving (I believe the emergency brake has be on), but I don't have a G37.
There may be a workaround, but I read somewhere that if you tamper with this option, the dealer will know and may void your warranty.
