Adding Rear Spoiler After the Fact?

Ready to buy a G37S, but dealer can't locate anything I want that has a rear spoiler. Are there currently any solutions to add the factory or similar spoiler to a car equipped with the standard silver lip?

There's also an aftermarket spoiler that looks like the oem, but I wouldn't get it. doesn't fit as good as the oem

Yeah, I just read about the Grubbs. Not bad, but now I think I want to hold out for the actual OEM spoiler. So I guess the question now is, does Infiniti have set plans to sell the spoiler as an add-on, or do you have to get it installed at the factory?

I don't mind the 3 month wait for ordering from the factory, but then I think that means I'll miss out on the current financing specials (that say they are good only for dealer in-stock cars).

I just bought mine about three weeks ago and asked the dealer if they would be able to put one on. Dealer mentioned something like they were backordered or something like that. I figure I'll wait till summer and try again.

I really did not like the chrome tail, so I added an aftermarket spoiler. I would have preferred the OEM, but it wasn't available. So I settled for the aftermarket in this picture.

Looks good man. One thing though...take off Sewell off the back of your car. Unless they paid you to advertise for them. I will never advertise free for anyone.

Not that I would necessarily recommend Crest Infiniti in Plano, but I did lease my G37s from them. I had them put an aftermarket spoiler on it, and it looks great. Blends right in and looks better than the Infiniti spoiler that comes to a thin edge. Mine is a bit more upright and blunter edge, but it looks great.
