Default how do I disable Navigation Warning when I start my car

I can't seem to find any info on how to disable the nav warning what I start my car. You know, its the one that pops up every time you start the vehicle and want to use the nav. I read it through and doesn't give me an option like "I understand the warning, but please don't pop up again as it is very annoying and I will never play with you while I'm driving, I promise" option.

Anyway, is this thing going to happen forever, or is there a setting that will disable the warning?

Thanks
-Will

Just pressed that rectangular button on top of the screen and it'll solve all your problems.

There is actually someone who came up with a fix for this and the thread was on driver. Check it out, I think it cost something like $100 for the mod. Good luck.

the warning is there for a reason. They don't want you driving around messing with the Nav. There are plenty of people who can't drive well without distractions!

i still think its bullshit tho. especially if someone is in the passenger seat... there is no reason not to be able to use it.
honestly i dont agree with it being blocked at all.... it's my car, i paid for the car, i paid way too much for the navi.. let me use it how i want. isn't this supposed to be the "land of the free"???

I understand your frustration with this but just like seat belts and airbags, the feature is there for a reason..I know that in my Nav (I have an 03) not everything is disabled while driving. I can go to my last 5 addresses driven to and I can select anyone from my address book too.. That is good enough for me. I am too distracted anyways when I drive...

thats how mine is too.... but c'mon.... people do much more dangerous things... eat food, text on cell phone, paint nails, etc....
at least with the nav.. you are looking right next to the road.. anything else in the car would be more distracting.

they don't want people eating food, texting, painting nails, AND messing with the nav all at the same time....

If the nav is such a distraction to set, then why even have the damn thing in the car. It's a visual distraction in it's purpose, isn't it? I think it's more of a distraction that I have to clear a warning just to see a the damn map.
