Default new guy and new G37S

Just wanted to say "Hello." Traded in the wife's FX35 on Friday and picked up her new G37. Spent all weekend programming and polishing (no pics yet, it was dark by the time I finished buffing it out last night).

Haven't had a chance to really put it through its paces yet, but it impresses early. Good fit and finish, real nice power, and definitely a head turner going through town. My only problem is the same with most new cars in that the waistline on these cars is so high I feel like I'm sitting in a bathtub while driving. Other than that, no gripes yet.

So, anyone got a supercharger out for the 3.7L yet?

Thanks!

And as for the polishing, new car paint jobs are pretty unprotected and nasty. A bit of work with the claybar, then some Menzerna final polish, and finally some Klasse makes a world of difference in the finish. Not as good as I'd like it yet, but it's ready for the elements until I get some time to do it right.

True. We are, after all, a Nation that elected "the decider" who's often "misunderestimated" not once, but TWICE.

"There's an old saying in Tennessee ... I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee ... that says, fool me once, shame on ... shame on you. Fool me ...... you can't get fooled again."

Bobkid,

M Coupes are awesome. I had a 2000 and to this day I'm sorry I sold it.

Can you divulge what you paid for your G? I'm interested in a LP w/Premium, Spoiler and 4WAS.

Thanks, I can't even imagine a scenario where we'll ever get rid of ours. I can't pull into a gas station without at least 1 or 2 people coming over to take a look at it. And as nice as the G37 is, even it can't turn heads as much as the MC does.

Basically straight MSRP due to the current demand. From what I saw at our dealer, at least 75% of their assigned G37 coupes for the rest of this year were already earmarked for individual customers. The hardest part right now is finding coupes with the packages you want that aren't already spoken for.

And it looks tiny as hell sitting there in the garage next to the 37.
