look at this and tell these are basically not the same thing (minus the crazy concept "extras")

the coupes wheels are an inch larger and the car is lowered.... besides that, its pretty damn close to the concept.

oo and even all the small detailed curves below the doors are the same (and look awesome in person) hard to see with the lighting in this pic tho.

the front end is the most important part. i would have gladly sacrificed a different part of the car to have the concept's front end...

oo the front , you say....

the hoods are identical.
the grille is very slightly different...
yeah the lights are better looking on the concept but did you really expect the real car to look like that??? oo but they are the SAME shape.
and the new bottom grilles are even better. (imo)

with some mods to the lights and the bottom grilles (like many do to their current Gs) i think the front will look BETTER than the concept.

but you gotta admit.. even the front is VERY close to the concept.

...no need to explain, it just doesn't. Of course from a basic perspective it would, the G37 is built off the concept after all... but i pose this challenge, when you get your 370GT, put 20'' wheels on it, drop it & paint the roof black... then we can do a side by side comparison!!

The front is no way close except for the design of the hood opening & the disattached lines!!

yah i mean, i see what you're saying. this looks the same, that looks the same. but overall the difference atleast appears to be pretty big.

when someone puts wheels and springs on a 37 and it looks like the concept, i will gladly eat my words.

its the same basic design (minus the different grilles)

all i am saying is that you can't tell me you ADORE the concept and HATE the 37.....

they are almost the same thing. and MUCH closer than the average concept.

look some more.. i know you poeple will eventually see... you just don't want to admit that our 35's are now outdated.

yeah... at first it's sad.. but then i realized it's good... you need changes but still want it to reflect the original.
i don't think they could have done better.
