This is the kind of posts I like to see because this means my VIN#, and subsequently my car, is right around the corner...

I believe that's the Intelligent Cruise Control Sensor, not the tow hook...check some other pictures and posts...

could be, i just assumed it was the hook because there is no pop out plastic piece in the center of the bumper like on g35's.

I just did a "Build" on BMW's website for a similarly equipped 335i Coupe... I selected every BMW option that was included in Infiniti's Premium, Navigation, and Technology Packages. Obviously, feature comparison isn't going to be exact, but this is about as close as it gets...

Options I did not include:
1. The cars' respective "Active Steering" option.
2. Destination & handling charges.
3. Spoiler.
4. Carpets, etc. which may or may not be dealer installed.

Infiniti G37 Coupe
--------------------------------
6MT Base Price: $35550
Premium Package: $3200
Navigation Package: $2200
Technology Package: $1150
--------------------------------
Infiniti G37 Coupe Total: $42100
--------------------------------

BMW 335i Coupe
--------------------------------
Base Price: $40800
Sport Package $1100
-18" Wheels
-Sport Seats
-Top Speed 150 mph
Premium Package: $2550
-BMW Assist & Bluetooth
-Universal Garage Door Opener
-Compass
-Auto-dim mirror
-Lumbar Support
Comfort Access: $500
-Keyless entry
Satellite Radio: $595
iPod Adapter: $400
Active Cruise Control: $2400
Heated Front Seats: $500
Navigation: $2100
--------------------------------
BMW 335i Coupe Total: $50945
--------------------------------

BMW 335i Coupe: $50945
Infiniti G37 Coupe: $42100

$50945-$42100 = $8845

That's a lot, especially for a car that by any review (Car & Driver, Motor Trend, Automobile, etc.) is very, very close in performance to the BMW, no matter where your allegiances lie.

Happy number crunching.

I noticed the absense of the "pop out" piece too... I wonder where the toe hook placement will be, if it's not in there with the cruise control sensor...
