Is the Infiniti G37 REALLY better than the BMW 335?

You read all the hype in the magazines and on the web that the 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe has beaten the BMW 335 coupe in numerous reviews.

Do you believe the hype or are these mags totally on the take because they want to squeeze out the big ad dollars from Infiniti and BMW?

Agent 001 is in Seattle this week and he intends to find out first hand.

Yea G37>335i. BMW could've made the 335i way better looking and more wider or aggressive looking. Doesn't look appealing to me.

I think the 335i is a nice looking car, exterior wise. I personally prefer the G37's exterior, but both are very nice. Interior, the G37 >>>>>>>>> 335i. Plus I don't need to shell out another 8k for a BMW emblem on my car.

Agreed! I think the interior of the 37 is way better than the 335i which was a main determining factor in my decision. I like the looks of both on the outside... the 37 cause it is sleek and sexy and the 335i cause it has a BMW badge.

i think the 37 and 335 both could be much more aggressive looking. for being such quick cars, they don't look it. bmw should start with the exhaust... looks so cheap.

all in all though, i'd pick the bimmer. it looks a little more refined to me, while still being sporty.

i don't know about that... probably depends on the girl you are trying to get.. maybe a rich snob would just wanna see the BMW logo... but a girl with a good head, i think would choose the G... at least girls around here are much more impressed with my coupe than any of the boring Bimmers.

it's a SPORTS COUPE... why should you care about that stuff.. that just proves why the 335 is behind.. with it's buig ugly windows.. it's doesnt look like a sports coupe....

maybe on paper... but there is much more to these cars than Car & Driver 1/4 mile times.

I think it comes down to personal preference. And who wants to feel like they have a bigger car-penis because they have a BMW logo on their car.

I personally don't understand how anybody would want the 335 interior over the G37.

G37 is a better value, hands down! But I still have a respect for the BMW
prestige! I must agree with some of thoughts on this board, the interior styling of the BMW is slacking. G's up!!
