Due to an embargo placed by Motor Trend, I was required to keep this internal until Monday, June 25th. We (Infiniti) got this sent to us by Motor Trend a few weeks ago. Nice. Thanks for posting that. I would have liked to see a comparo with the manuals. The G's weight is way too high still.

You can see that the G's price played a big part in its win. $8,000 is a big difference.

3770 lbs.??? Holly bejeesus!!! This thing is now truly a porker. Nice article though. It confirms what I heard about the oil cooler fit from April of '07 onwards.

the Car and Driver write up has the car running a 13.9 @ 103. 103 is pretty good- weight eduction mods need to be a first on this car. Its turning into a mustang GT.... more power and more weight.

Seriously, what good is the power increase when the weight is inceasing by so much. 0-60 in 5.4 is not that much faster than the first gen G35.

... i was thinking the same thing... now picture this... G35 exterior + G37 engine = Hot f*k!!

its about time nissan made so progress in the battle against bmw....now all they have to do make the damn car lighter and it easily spanks the bmw in all of those 1/4 and 0-60 times!!!
