Property Tax !!!!???

What is everyone else ou there paying for personal property tax out there?? Just got my bill, and it is [bigeyes] $871.00[banghead]
Anyone got a suggestion on how to get out of that, or get it lowered? That puts the total monthly cost of my car at $755.00 per month (556 pymnt+72 taxes + 127 ins) without service or gas figure in some service, and thats almost my mortgage payment [censored].Any suggestions?[dunno]

Mine was around $450. Really depends on where you live. "Good news" is it depreciates pretty fast for the first few years, so it'll get cheaper.

I was more concerned with sales tax, it cost me about $2300 in my county. [irk]

Can't you claim it on your federal tax return or whatever? Some guy up in Washington spearheaded a campaign to reduce our car tabs to $30 for everyone. So my bill went from $600 a year to $30. You guys might want to look into doing that...[angel]
