Perhaps others have seen this? The liquid, bright yellow drops of, what I assume, to be some kind of diarrheic bird crap. Searched forums for bird poop/sh_t, and did not come up with much.
I have gotten it when the car is dirty, the dried spots flick right off. On a clean car, in the sun, this crap stains the paint a bit.
Anyone know the best and safe way to get the unholy crud these flying rats have dropped on my car? [V]
The two drops are about the size of the little "people" heads in the climate control display.
One on spoiler and one on roof near rubber runneers.
Thank you.

I believe what your taking about is not from birds but small tree worms that blow in the wind and end up on many vehicles they are near. When the surface of the car is hot enough they stick to the paint instantly upon contact and die. Yes they do stain the paint somewhat after removal; however, the stain should eventually dissolve after a few hours. Try to keep a good wax application on the paint to help with the removal and stain problems.
I hear you. I've experience the same problem. Typically, I go home and clean the it off with just water and a soft cloth. I then use a little wax to polish / remove the residual yellow stain.
I found some stains on mine the other day .. went out n got some Turtle Wax Bug & Tar remover ... worked great. Kinda made me paranoid cuz it got the stains off my car so quickly ... then again I left it over night after washing it before using the remover.

I had the same problem where the crap almost etched the paint on my old truck. I ended up using Meguiars ScratchX to remove it then a good coat of wax to protect it from the next time
Thank you guys for the info. Water (spit if nothing handy) generally works well, and I have found the McGuires detail or the Medalllion I used most often eventually gets it off.
I think the worst one, took maybe two washes, and polishings to go away. As there was rain there, those were fairly close.
I wish my company would spring for a building with a garage. Land is too cheap here...most buildings on the "loop" have lots. Ick.
