Hey guys,
A friend of mine just lost access to her G in the parking lot. She parked at work this morning and turned off her car, but then wanted to re-park, so she tried to turn it back on and the car wouldn't even try to start. Now the key (the real transponder key) is stuck in the ignition.
My guess is that the chip in the key is screwed up and the immobilizer kicked in. Is there anything else it could be? If it is the immobilizer, what are her options? It would be very difficult to tow her car out of the parking garage.
Yeah, that's what she's doing. I just don't know how they're going to get the car down from the 4th floor. Or is this something they can do without moving the car?
She's gotta be blonde!!! My co-worker did the same thing during lunch time..Her G wouldnt start so she came in and asked me to check it out..I went out there, It was on PARK..[]
