So I bought new tires from tire rack, and got them installed by one of their suggested installers (Major Tire Chain). After I got them put on, I take a look at the wheels and they're all F###ed up. Nothing major, but there are a few dings on each wheel (small, black, engraved like deep scratches). They also have very light scratches in a swirl completely covering each wheel.
They are not horrible, but to me they look like total crap.
Does anyone have any suggestions, or advice?
Thanks in advance.

I noticed when i got home, and they were closing when I left. Problem is, I have no pictures of the wheels before they did their work, so no proof.
I guess the best thing to do is talk to them on Monday, and see if they will fix the damage..
Although, getting them repainted is kind of a bummer (especially if they want to use who they want), and chances are they wont replace them.
Has anyone had any success with any of this?
All four of my wheels got f'ed up when I changed my first set. The tire shop paid for all four to be repainted and resurfaced. I was without my car for a day, but they covered the rental as well. I caught it before I left though. Good luck.

So I dont know if im crazy and losing my mind or not. I went to the shop and showed the manager the damage. The brilo pad scratches, and a few deep small cuts. He assured me they're equipment could not do that because nothing they use ever touches the face of the wheel.. everything is done with the only contact being made, to the inside part of the rim. (It clamps to the inside of the rim).
The equipment they use is a Corghi, and Hunter machines. Anyone know anything about these?
Thanks....

just because the machine doesn't touch the face doesn't mean the monkey operating it didn't hit it against something.
I apologize if there are any tire shop monk...er....employees... on this board, we all know you would never do something to harm another person's wheels.
I've had that happen too with stock rims. The pain is easy to damage. The tire machine does touch the edge of the lip of the rim to dismount and mount the tires.
