service engine soon light EVAP system??

hi my service engine soon light came up, i chcecked the codes it gives
P0456 EVAP Control System
P0442 EVAP Control System

i gave the car a little too much gas and i span the wheels in 1st and second and it came on, i'm gonna clear the codes hope it dosen't come back

nothing wrong with the car no rough idle, i don't see anything different works as it did before it came on. 130KM on my engine
should i be worried about this? thanks

There is a TSB for the 03 models for a problem like that. My 03.5 sedan had the check engine light come on with an evap code that was fixed under the TSB. The dealer simply plugs the OBDII into the car and reprograms the computer parameters that trip those codes.

check the TSB to see if your codes are covered by the TSB or if there may be another issue like a small leak in the evap system.

Have you had the fuel hoses replaced under the recall? If not, maybe they have cracked.

i've already reseted the code , i haven't driven the car yet, but it dosen't come right away after starting the car like it used to before the reset, so i think i'm ok, i have not had the fuel hoses replaced, i just checked the infinitihelp.com recalls section i guess i don't have any leaks i don't smell or see anything, thanks

The idea is to replace the hoses before they leak.

maybe they've been replaced by the previous owner the car has 130km on it
