My son and I put 19" coupe wheels on my 2003.5 G35 6mt sedan today.
Forged 19x8" front, forged 19x8 1/2" rear. Tires front 225/40R19, rear 245/40R19. I think they fit beautifully. The car is not lowered. Test drive with 75 lbs in trunk and 210 lb dude in back seat, no rubbing even over bumps and in dips.

2003.5 G35 sedan, sport suspension, rear spoiler, Injen CAI. Borlen exhaust, Motordyne 5/16" plenum spacer, clear corners.

Very nice! Now get some revised 350z or coupe springs on that thing, it looks like a monster truck!

yeah the car will definitedly look better with a drop. you could also opt for some coupe springs.

I'd have to agree about dropping that puppy a tad bit. While it's a lot more practical at current height taking it down an inch would just finish off the car.

How did you go about getting the 19s? Refurb, or off someone's coupe?

They are off a coupe. I am not sure what year. They are 19x8" and 19x8 1/2".

well, i'm not big on drops either. i dont see why people would want to drop the coupe more than it already is

but the sedan definitedly looks better when it is dropped.

dropping the coupe helps the handling....at least that'd be my reason to drop it. NY roads arent good for low vehicles, high curbs, speed bumps and potholes are not G coupe friendly...

if it was performance related, then fine, i wouldnt have any objections to it. but most people do it for the "look"
