Hey all,
This is my first post, so apologies in advance if I messed up trying to embed the links.
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety just released crash test results for the g35 and a number of other cars. These came out a couple days ago, but I hadn't seen anybody post them yet...
The crash tests were "high speed frontal offset" crash tests. The g35 received a rating of good and is a "best pick". [thmsup]

Here's a link to the detailed report for the g35. Although they don't specify that they tested a sedan, that's what is shown in the pictures. I'm assuming they didn't test the coupe.

After seeing the g35 get a rating of "poor" a few weeks ago for the bumper tests, I was hoping it would do well in the real crash tests and it's quite a relief that it did. While I certainly would have liked to see the g35 get a better rating on the bumpers, bumpers can always be replaced. I'm satisfied to know that it should hold up well in a real crash.

P.S. I've been lurking around here for a few weeks now and I've found it very useful reading *all* the old posts. I'm looking forward to getting my g35 around the end of November.
