GARDENA, Calif. (September 3, 2003)– Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported August total sales of 80,820 for its Nissan and Infiniti divisions, a 14.2 percent increase versus August of last year. NNA reports selling 526,023 units calendar year-to-date, a 3.4 percent increase from last year at this time.
NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS
- August sales for Nissan-brand vehicles are up 8.3 percent when compared to last August, with 67,832 units sold
- Calendar year-to-date sales for Nissan-brand vehicles are down 1.2 percent with 446,690 units sold
INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS
- Sales for Infiniti, the luxury division of NNA, increased 59.4 percent from last August, with 12,988 units sold
- Infiniti sales are up 39.9 percent calendar year-to-date, totaling 79,333 units
NNA INFORMATION
- Combined August sales for Nissan and Infiniti totaled 80,820 units, a 14.2 percent increase from last August
- Sales of NNA’s North American-produced vehicles for August totaled 54,329 representing 67.2 percent of all NNA vehicles sold in the United States
- Calendar year-to-date sales for NNA products total 526,023 units, up 3.4 percent

I can tell where you got the first set of numbers. Hey boones. Sorry I can't point you right to it. I was searching for the sedan details, so I didn't think to save the link. The overall Nissan NA/Infiniti production releases are posted at www.infinitinews.com archives but, as you know, no specifics. I can say with some confidence that I did NOT find the coupe breakdown on an official Nissan NA site. I'll try to search some for it and if successful will post it here and PM you. I too would like to see even more detailed production info compiled. Your efforts to provide a comprehensive research resource at www.g-owners.com is commendable and the site is looking good.
