ehhhmmmm, the biggest difference between the 03 - 05 is the interior, the newer interior is said to look better. it's a matter of taste really. there's also an mp3 player on the 05. which again, is a matter of preferrence. the horsepower bumped up, the torque dropped a bit, but overall the car is about the same in actual speed. the tail lights also changed to what is called a more "skylinish" look. yes, there are mods and look upgrades that you can get for the sedan.
as far as defects go: CHECK YOUR FRONT BRAKES. look at the pads, tell us what color they are. if they're silver... then... maybe you should start thinking about getting them replaced. I once heard that the 6 in dash cd sometimes could not read CD-R's, i havent had this problem, but it's worth mentioning. um.... that's all i can think of right now. maybe others could help you out even further. good luck, and good choice!
The front hood, the trunk, the front bumper, the interior, the taillights, the wheels, the chrome accents and the power in the engine was changed. However, according to infiniti, the 03 gets the best MPG

how was the trunk changed? and the hood? front bumper i know myself. Is there any mods i can do to the front bumper? and how about a cheap skirt package?
in my opinion, I would get the 05 tailights and the 05 hood.
but either way you put it, 03, 04 or 05, the G35 is beautiful
in that photograph (a very good looking infiniti)
is a aftermarket suspension setup and 19" wheels. Those are 05 tailights with overlays applied. Those are also Larger Exhaust tips and the INFINITI letters has been debadge

Welcome to the sedan forum. If you have an 'early' '03 (like the first pic Neal posted with the doggie door handle on the trunck lid exterior), you will not have a remote trunk release or a power outlet on the passenger side of the console. They were added to the '03.5 model sedan and can be ordered seperately and retrofitted to the early '03 if you wish. Also, for a listing of all recalls and TSBs, plus a whole lot of other good info, just head over to www.infinitihelp.com and poke around a bit.

That said, don't confuse the Brake Warranty issued by Infiniti Division of NNA (Nissan North America) with a TSB or Recall, it's not. The brake waranty has a 3 year/36k mi. time frame. Since NNA is US and Canada, I presume your car is covered but your local Infiniti dealer can confirm. I put a copy of the brake warranty letter in THIS thread.
Going thru all the TSBs on infinitihelp.com to see what attention your sedan may need before adding bolt-ons would be wise IMO. Considering it's auction source, I suspect you have a less than complete service record on the car. But don't fret... if your local Infiniti dealer runs the car's VIN#, they should have a record of which, if any, TSBs and Recalls have already been performed.
As to body kits for the sedan; not much selection and, personally, I haven't found a single kit that shouts 'buy me' yet. Since I might like the front end of one, rear of another, etc., I would be inclined to try a custom job using seperate pieces from different kits. If I -had- to pick a single kit (excluding the super expensive, hard-to-get JDM kits), I would probably pick the Wald kit. I tend to lean towards the conservative sedan kits and don't need a front cutout for F/I intercooler plumbing. If you search around you will find pics of all.
Welcome to the forum. I think the biggest wheels you can put on the sedan are 19" but I may be wrong. I guess it's because I have never seen anything bigger on the sedan. Have fun!

You could go 20's. I've seen 20's on a sedan, but you can't lower on 20's without modification to the wheel wells. I'd go with 19's. Good luck and post pics of your new ride with rims/mods.
