Default 04 to 05 curb weight increase?

Anyone know why the sudden increase in curb weights to the G35 sedan after 2004? They bumped up the horse power, but the curb weight jumped too. Where does 114 extra pounds come from on the 6MT model?

Default curb weight

Usually comes from structurally-added stiffness or sound insulation. I have looked at changes for '05 and cannot find anything specific. Could be changes in the engine as well as that is when the supposed power bump occurred. The trim is slightly different too and any other drivetrain changes that wer made and not publicized could have increased the weight. Just pretend you have a cute 114lb passenger. Never hurts.
