Default Angled exhaust?

Hello everybody, I'm still new to these boards, but I took the time out to introduce myself over in Off Topic. Anyway, I searched many threads on the keywords 3" exhaust, and 3 inch exhaust, and couldn't really find what I was looking for. I know that mounting that size exhaust on a N/A car is not the way to go, but for me, I love the way the angled 3 inch exhaust looks on japanese sports cars. I have Espelir JGTC500 on my s13, and my roomate has Blitz Nur Spec on his s14, and I love the aggressive look achieved by that size exhaust and that angle. I've seen HKS Hiper Exhaust on the 4dr, but I honestly don't like the finish too much. My question is this, is there anyone who has a large diameter exhaust on their 4dr, or know of pics of of one, or even a smaller diameter exhaust with a high performance rear muffler and an angle to it? Hope I don't get flamed alive for this one...

I think I saw a few G35 Sedans on car domain that may have owners who can connect with your taste.

Also, you may be able to go to a shop and have a custom exhaust mounted. With my old mustang, we got a shop to weld a side exhaust on the car...with no cats obviously lol. But I have grown out of that

ask that guy, looks like he got a pretty big diameter pipe.

I'd check G35driver.com for this topic and also the vendors;

These are some places to start anyway. BTW there aren't really too many 3" exhausts out there for the G35's. Hang in there though more and more 3" stuff is starting to pop up.

Thanks for the links. I think I found what I was looking for. This is what I mean:

So aggressive looking, but unfortunately the silky smooth sound of the stock VQ is probably lost. Does anyone know of where a sound clip of this exhaust on a G sedan? I've seen some of the threads for exhaust sound clips on a G35, but most are for the coupe, so the bends and length of the exhaust may differ the sound on a sedan.

Default angled exhaust

You may want to call Stillen (stillen.com) and see what they have to offer as well, I have seen quite a few 3" exhausts from them for the sedan. Best bet is to just go with a Borla or Stillen unit from the cats back, 3" diameter be damned! They are great units and will increase your output (up to 22hp with the Stillen unit at the rear wheels!)
