Had my 05 Dynoed today for other reasons I can not say at this moment. I needed a baseline. The car is stock except for a ztube. The car is exceptionally powerful. Even more powerful than my 04 G35 6mt.
Basically the dyno speaks for itself. Take a look.
FYI:
Stock DYNO for 2005 G35 Sedan 6mt with 7351 Miles, outside temp 60 degrees, shop temp 75~ degrees. Car could not go above 6800 rpms due to speed limiter at 145 mph kicking in.
Hey that's really cool!!............however,
Doesn't an "05 G35" put out 280 HP? Is this reading at the flywheel or the rear wheels? I'm sure this isn't at any ALTITUDE, (like where I live)so what's up with these readings? Am I missing something here? just curious

Sorry folks! I turned trader and went w/ another makers SUV. (i do love it though!) Local Infiniti dealer wouldn't deal!
Lrpba300: A chassis dyno like this shows rear wheel horse power (RWHP). You typically lose 15-18% (mt vs at) from the flywheel back through a transmission (higher parasitic loss in an AWD). So gross HP at the flywheel would be close to 300 in this example.

Nicely done G35_TX!
Thanks! I know what your talking about, I just didn't see it in the graph.

That is so cool! I wish I could post mine, I had about 275 at the wheels which equated to 315 at the crank, but then I've done a bit more, I STILL say no matter what year, the sedan ALWAYS put out 280hp at the crank. Impressive and thanks much, lotsa work here you've done here for our pleasure!
Wait, I thought the 6MT 2005 Sedans had a 155 mph speed limiter not a 145 mph one? Doesn't the 5AT have a 145 mph and the 6MT 155 mph? Your's actually kicked in at 145?
