have you tried ebay? or the panasonic audio site? just some suggestions....since ur in hacienda heights u can maybe stop by car/audio craftsmen off nogales past valley towards amar i think. u can try and stop by and talk to erick.

personally, i would not go with the avic-n1 (this is just my opinion, u can totally disagree)...we all know the pros of the n1 is that its touch screen, displays vehicle data, etc, etc. the n1 has the capability of being "tricked" into being able to watch TV/DVDs while the car is in motion. however, the unit is a single disk reader. so basically, the CDs, DVDs, and navigation disks all feed into the same slot. which means when u want to listen to CDs/DVDs u have to take out the navi disk. the navi route will still display, however, if u want to change routes u need to put the navi disk back in...which is kind of a pain in the ass. i have a kenwood unit that uses a separate navigation console so it won't interfere with cds or dvds. also with the n1, there's an update out for the navi disk that u can use which will work in collaboration with the XM radio to re-route due to traffic, accordingly. the downside of doing this is that once u update it u won't be able to trick the system into watching tv, etc while the car is in motion....thats just what i think i guess....but i have no doubts that the n1 is a nice system regardless.

i'm in the alhambra/pasadena area...but i lived in hacienda/rowland heights for like 18yrs and i work in city of industry...and i hang out in hacienda almost every weekend lol...so i guess u can say i'm pretty familiar with the area lol.

as far as the ebay thing, if he only has 3 it might not be a good thing to go buying such a complicated system from him.

u may wanna try some of these links

http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_g...search=avic+n1

http://www.bizrate.com/marketplace/s...-11620426.html

http://www.shopping.com/xGS-pioneer_avic_n1

http://shop.store.yahoo.com/csexpo/panasonic.html

http://www.laokay.com/Auto-MobileElectronics.htm

http://www.caraudiocraftsmen.com/

note: if u do, by chance, go to car audio craftsmen (i'm not trying to push you to them or not...just letting u know since they're one of the only car audio places i trust and know in your area) u may want to stop by here first www.teamipr.com and talk to peter about it. tell him daniel with the black g35 and black civic (which should still be there) told u to talk to him about it. if by the slimest of chances that there's another daniel with the same cars as me, just tell him daniel with the "sleeping dragon" (thats what the call my civic) LOL.

if u ever see a blk 04 6mt tinted with two stickers on the tail lights that say IPResearch www.teamipr.com and another one on the left rear passenger window that says IPR Innovative Performance Research, Fabrication Specialists....thats me lol. i'm usually around the usual spots: life plaza, tea station, ten rens, hang out, starbucks, the mall, coffee bean, etc. lol...if u see me stop by and say hi.

good luck with the system. if u can get it in and i see u, then u gotta show me lol

the stereo place is all the way down nogales, past valley. u should see the high school on your left. the shop is on the right...u should see a gas station on the right hand side (i think its a 76). the guy there is named erick.

peter, the guy to talk to first is off fulerton and valley. go all the way down fullerton and then make a right onto valley, then make a left into the first available turn (not the first stoplight; if u turn that the stoplight u'll pass it). then turn right into the first driveway, make a right when ur in the plaza to go around the front of the buildings and go all the way down until u see a bunch of cars....u should see a big blue van, a red prelude, a white fb, a black fb, a red mr2, a black sti, a blue benz, and a silver Z. i think thats the usual line up outside the shop.

anyways...u don't HAVE to go LOL. they're just suggestions lol.
