Haven't driven my poor girl Gina-G35 since Early December....
But today, I said "Screw it!" and took her to work. It's been warm lately. Almost all the snow has melted, and although the roads are pothole-laden and still littered with tons of sand....the majority of the potholes are now clearly visible, easy to discern from a puddle, and most drivers are now familiar with their locations. The salt portion of the melting agent mixture that the city puts on the roads has also been mostly washed away by all the rain and melting snow.
A few things I've noticed in returning to my G after being away from Gina for soo long, and bombing around in my Winter Beater(1990 Nissan 240SX........with practicly no exhaust!!) for the past 3 months:
1) The seats in the G are higher than I remember them being.
2) The seating position of the G is pretty far forward in the cockpit compared to other cars I occasionally drive.
3) Other drivers turn their head to look at your car as you drive by

I'd almost forgotten what that feels like.
4) We need more range in our gears.
5) Rattles are still there!!!
6) The brakes are super-sensitive and incredibly powerful(240SX's are known for having a very poor OEM brake setup)
7) I need to buy an aftermarket Exhaust and an Intake to give Gina an even more aggressive growl. Maybe I've just grown to enjoy the Mack-truckish droning of my 240SX's urestricted voice. Call me crazy.
Either way...... I love my G.
