Default Does G35 and 350z Share the same throttle body?

same as titled.

I saw the bored out throttle body for the 350z on 350evo
http://www.350evo.com/catalog/produc...products_id/33

i was wondering if that would be interchangable with the one on G35. I don't see why not, but anyone has any idea?

Thanks

It has to be the same throttle body. Both the z-tube and the Crawford plenum work on the 350z and the G35. If both of these products each connect w/o incidence then I'd say there is a 99.999999% chance that they are the same part number.

im was the phone with 350evo.
the throttle body is on back order.

and BJ recommanded that you should get the ECU upgrade from TS combined with the throttle body to see gains on top end.

Sure sounds tempting, but that means a 800 dollar investment.

This mod is rather unique in that we actually have frank HONEST discussion on exactly what the mod does to the car in testing by EV0350. BUT!, you have to of seen the original threads like I did to know the discussion ever took place. This of course would be caught by anyone running a search on my350z.com. Just installing the throttle body on a stock car without a Technosquare reflash ECU mod will not result in any measureable gain. With the reflash they gained 3 mph top speed at the end of Daytona's straightaway, meaning speeds past 145mph.

Here is a recap of what BJ at EVO350 had to say about the mod.

"stock vs bored out with new throttle plate and half the throttle plate cylinder removed. It looks very nice, but it resulted in no change in the acceleration graph nor top end."

"When we did test this back in March we ran a stock ECU and saw no gains at the end of the back straight at mid Ohio"

"The TS ECU reflash is needed for best results. There have been many posts about the OEM throttle plate starting to close at high RPMS.....this is where gains would be....at high rpms...wide open throttle. We did many back to back runs at Daytona Intl speedway and everytime we ran this we gained speed"

When asked how much speed was gained.

"3mph at the end of both straights in 6th gear."

At least it's inexpensive and would look cool to list where I list when I list my mods. I'm strangly drawn to want the mod inspite of what I know.

for this mod it's a gate way for other mods. like a plenum and or the intake manifold. Where a fraction of gain on the throttle body should translate to even higher gains when combined with a the other mods mentioned.
