Just curious to know if any of my fellow G owners experience this phenomenon or not. I'm taking about the black hole that exists between the drivers seat and the center console. You know, that space where EVERYTHING that gets dropped falls into. I'm talking change, cell phones, french fries....EVERYTHING!. I gotta think there's $5 in dimes and nickels alone down there and I havent figured out how to squeeze my hand in there to clean it out! Fortunately, I've been able to fish out my cell phone but that's about it.
Am I the only who who has this gravitational field in my car?
you're not alone. I remember a few other members posting about this a few months back and even an injury or two trying to get stuff back from the great unknown. I'm a pretty small person so I can get in back and fish my hand underneath the seat. Try getting someone to do that for you if you can't do it yourself
I haven't dropped anything in there yet, but I know what you are talking about. Access from between the seat & center console is non-existant and from underneath the seat is also very difficult.
This is where you need to have the kloh-kids stick their hands in there. Also, if my slave (and Jaylin's) would've just behaved, we could've lent her out to you.
Ah well.

Sedans have that gravity well too. Dropped a napkin down there once. I dont bring food in the car but keep them to absorb condensation if placing cold water bottle in cup holder.
Anyway, I used one of those plunger grabbers. Looks like a two foot syringe with a spring around it. Press the plunger and three to four hooked, fine stiff wires come out...you can use these as fingers to grab items out of tight spots.
Any plumbing or building supply will have them. Make sure you get the one with the flexible housing.
Got a pen out of there too...but that quarter is under the seat rails. It aint coming out of there. Not w/o removing the seat and I am not doing that.
