Attention all G35 owners in the state of Florida. We now officially have a G35 club that is up and running. You can find all of the details about our first official meet, our sponsorships, the raffle and prizes we'll be giving away to our members, our club t-shirt, etc... just check out the following links:
About 80+ people presently hang out in the SE FORUM on the G35DRIVER. I hope that all the G35 owners here will at least check out what we have started. Please feel free to get involved, the sooner the better!
Moderators- I realize that there are local forums on 6MT.net, however I made a post over there and it laid idle for 9 days... Just not much activity for something this big.
Thanks,
Neffster Florida G35 Club

Is there ANY INTEREST from ANYONE on this forum who lives in Florida? So far there are close to 30 fellow G35 owners who will be going to our first meet in March. This should give everyone enough time to make plans and check in on what we are doing.
We'll be raffling off a free Zaino Kit, a free SIRIUS satellite radio and free installation (or a free OEM spoiler and free installation, winners choice), a Crawford Billet Oil Cap and 2 KP Technologies window roll up modules and 2 VDC disable modules with free installation. Plus there will be "smaller" prizes raffled off as well. Oh yeah, free food (all you can eat) and discounts on automotive services will be provided by Lokey Infiniti. We will also be selling club T-Shirts (which are free to the club members).
If you live in FL and "might" be interested in meeting other G35 owners, would you at least reply to this thread and give us a "hi"? Everyone is welcome to attend. Just click the links above for more info...
Thanks,

This is a great opportunity to create something special for the Florida G35 community. Neff has taken the bull by the horns and has established the club, signed up some really good sponsors, set up a great place for our first all Florida meet and put a web site up. (All of this in just the last three weeks.) The rest of us need to support his efforts in making this endeavor a success by becoming members. The $25.00 is a small investment for the returns this club can offer.

One of the best parts about this club is you don't have to own a G to join. You just have to love them.
For any of you interested in purchasing a new G, Lokey Infiniti has been a great supporter of getting our Florida Club up and running. They are one of our main sponsors and I would contact them before you made any purchase. There is a link to them on our web site at www.FloridaG35Club.com.

well, how about this? i'll join if you can mail me a t-shirt since chances are i won't be able to show up.
Actually that's the way it works. For everyone who will not be in attendance at the meet, I will personally mail out the T-Shirts.
Remember the T-Shirt is just one item that club members get for joining. We will be having future meets at various locations. The present plan is to have 4 major meets a year (every 3 months), with one in the Miami area, one in the Jacksonville area, maybe one over in Melborne/Daytona (and of course) the first meet in Clearwater.
BreaKaoss, when you sign up simply include your T-Shirt size in the paypal memo section along with your home mailing address and make sure to request that the T-Shirt be sent out. I'll take care of the rest.
I look forward to sending out your "welcome to the club" private message.

Remember...if you cant make the March 5th meet, don’t worry, you will still receive your shirt and be eligible to attend all other events and get any discounts we may receive from our sponsors. We are up close to 30 members now and will undoubtedly be over 40 by the time the meet rolls around so don’t miss out on this opportunity to become a charter member of the ALL-Florida G35 Club.
Hope you all consider spending $25 for a year of fun, at least 4days of free food with many other die-hard G owners, many chances at $100+ prizes, and a well designed T-shirt. AND ALL THIS AT THE VERY LEAST!!!

That's too bad about you not joining. One thing to consider is that Lokey Infiniti will be announcing a "special incentive" for all new car buyers that are MEMBERS of the club within the next week or so. John Oliva the service director is working the details with the owner and the sales director starting tomorrow.
Also, don't think of it as buying a T-Shirt for $25 (we are selling them to anyone for $20). That is the completely wrong perspective. Think of it as joining a car club that will, in some way, be able to benefit you at some point down the road. Whether it be a big discount on your new G (due to Lokey Infiniti's involvement), a cool T-Shirt and a free lunch at Lokey Infiniti in March, or any of the other things we put together in the near term future (we'll be having at least 3 more MAJOR meets this year at other locations around the state). At my first meet I learned about wheel offsets and how they affect lip sizes. This was WAY WORTH me attending the meet. I learned that I didn't want a 10.5" wheel in the back because I saw what one looked like. I also learned that a 9.5" wheel just looked too small for me. This led me to the 19 x 10.0" rear rims on my PIAA's that I have and love. I also got to see aftermarket 20's and decided that they were just too big IMO. The pictures online DEFINITELY look different than when seeing the wheels in person. It's the experiences like that which should make being involved so important to YOU.
As of March 1st the CHARTER MEMBER program will be over. The club membership fee will be increased to be more in line with BMWCCA and the AUDI Club of North America. Infiniti is a MAJOR marquis vehicle, as is BMW and AUDI. There is no reason why our Florida club cannot be just as successful as the others. Once the club is better established we will be scheduling driving events (with certified instructors) and other neat things along those lines. The more people that get involved, the sooner these types of events will be possible. (Hey, it all costs money and the membership fees and sponsorships all add up!)
I sure hope you reconsider.
As for MilesDavis, I sure hope he visits our "local watering hole" on G35driver SE Forum. Feel free to submit your ideas and suggestions to help the club grow in a direction that it can benefit you best.
FYI, as of now we are 24 members and growing. There are also more people that have told me they will be joining, they just have to set up their Paypal accounts. Not bad for a club that's been established for ~3 weeks.

I'm kind of braggin' but check out the club website now (just click the link in my sig)... We are presently 30 members strong (means 30 people have paid their annual dues already) and I expect to be 50+ by the time the March 5th meet rolls around! We also have a lawyer working "pro-bono" to help us establish the l.l.c. and will be paying the fees for the state tax i.d. and business licenses soon. Next comes the Liability Umbrella Insurance Policy for things like driving events, then finally the club bank account will be established.
Also, check out our sponsors and items donated for the First Ever "All Florida Meet" Raffle. Almost $2000 donated thus far and I'm not finished yet!!!
This is going to be one HUGE meet!!!
The expression... "LEAD, Follow, or GET OUT OF THE WAY" comes to mind.
