Get some nice winter tyres and have them mounted. Change to regulars in the spring. As an example, I switch from 245/45/16 Bridgestone SO3's to 225/50/16 Bridgestone Blizzak's. I pay $44 for mounting and balancing & no storage fees.

not sure where you live but around me you don't have the option of putting chains on your tires when you want. They're only allowed in the worst of winter condition b/c they can seriously rip up the road.

DRPJM1 how do you have 16"s on your car?? I have stock 18"s. I don't beleive that 16"s will fit over the Brembo brakes?

I don't think the chains will only rip up the road.... they will also seriously damage the tires.
