Love the 05's !!

Man..
I sat down in an 05 coupe for the first time today at Discover Infiniti in San Diego.. Some car salesmen just don't get it !!
I walk in, tell the guy that I have an 04 and just want to take a look at the changes in the 05's.. His first question to me is: "So, are you ready to do business today?" Not what I except from an Infiniti dealership, but hey
As for the 05:
Love the new gauges, ours are so plain and ugly
The 19 inch wheels are growing on me
The Aluminum accents are very upscale.. but the dash itself is black now even on a willow interior car.. Did not like that very much
Love the electric seat recliners
Love the electric tilt and telescope wheel

Can't wait to see how a new 6SP MT would match up against a Beemer 330Ci.. Car and Driver Comparo in the works

Is it worth $5000 over what I paid for my VPP priced 04..
Hell no, but if you could get VPP on an 05.. that would be sweet !!

Oh yeah, the seats are exactly the same.. not softer leather like they said.. well anyway, you couldn't tell that they are

Man I want to replace my gauges with the 05's. Those are tight. I still need to research if it is possible. Also, I wonder if I get aftermarket aluminum dash kit if it'll look good and not cheap. Oh well besides that I still love my 04.

Please let me konw or post the info if you find out how we can replace our gauges with the 05's at a reasonable price.

Yea I will post when I find out. I asked a tech a month before but he didn't know if it would. He said it might be possible but pretty hard. He said if I want to change the gauges I might have to change the whole hosing. And he doesn't know if the housing will fit the 04 because the dash behind it is alittle different. Well I'll do more research and let ya know
