Default differential and transmission oil question

Hello there, had a question on my 2004 6MT coupe, base model. I recall reading in the brochure that the 6MT coupe has a limited slip differential. Is this the kind of limited slip using clutch packs? I was looking at the owners manual to see what type of differential and transmission oil is spec'd, was planning to switch everything to synthetic sometime in the future. For the differential oil, it was a GL-5 spec'd but made no mention of requiring friction modifiers. At least for pickup trucks, limited slip means you have to use a oil with or add a friction modifier. Also, if anyone is using Redline brand transmission and differential oil, what are you using, MTL or MT90? thanks... Tom

I'm too lazy to look it up but when do we have to change the oil in that?

Our differential is a viscous unit so it does not need friction modifiers, but I am going to use Redline 75w90 (not NS) with the friction modifier since it doesn't hurt to have it. I'm changing my diff oil tomorrow with the Redline stuff, heard it's really good so we'll see..
I have an AT so I don't know what goes in the MT transmission, but I've heard that you should not use anything but nissan fluid since infiniti will void your warranty if anything goes wrong with the tranny and they find other fluid.
