Default 2004 vs. 2005

What are the changes?
I've been reading many posts and I heard that the 05 has no power recliner and brembo brakes. Is this true? Are there anymore changes, negative or positive?

The Infiniti site has been updated with the 05's specs, you can check there. You also can check on the Infiniti new site.

To my knowledge, the '05s have slightly more hp (15-18hp) while torque seems to remain the same. The center console has changed its look and I believe an MP3 player has been added to the HU. Rims have been changed to 19"s instead of 18"s, which should mean that suspension has been altered as well. I believe that the 04's were the last model to include the brembos, but someone around here said that stopping distance remained virtually the same (probably just less aesthetically pleasing). I haven't heard any changes as far as the navigation goes. I think someone mentioned that driver seat includes power everything, but not certain.

Overaly, I'd say it is a compromise as far as pos and neg changes. On one hand you get an MP3 player, but on the other you have knobs that replace the smooth look of the center console. You don't get brembos, but you get stock 19s. You get power everything seats (added weight), but you get an extra few horses. But of course you can get all these things done aftermarket as well...

Still prefer to have brembos. That is going to suck not having those

The 05 sport suspension is a siqnifant revision that includes stiffer shocks, springs and stiffer sways, plus of course the 19's. Having recently driven a 05 coupe with it, this suspension finanlly makes the "sport" in G35 sport coupe a reality. If you are one who is concerned about ride quality, you need to drive a 05 coupe with and without the suspension. 6MT buyers have no choice but to accept the suspension as it is standard, no doubt it should be easy to find a regular suspension owner more then willing to swap.
