Default Playing with my G spot

Well I had the pleasure of pushing my car with the VDC off last night in an empty parking lot. It was fun, I was doing dounuts and buring up my tires and then this one time I stalled out doing a dounut. Then the car wouldn't start. I was like "NOOOO" then I tried again and it was turning but didn't really start. Then the 3rd time it started. It was weird. The weirder thing was my gas gauge read empty when there was a quarter tank left. I restarted my car 3 time before the gas read right. Well I'm never doing that again and does anyone have theories why this could've happened? I don't have a clue.

If you were spinning in the same direction for too long, you might have centrifuged the fuel away from the fuel line, or worse, pulled all the oil to one side of your engine block. Don't do that!!! As I'm sure you can guess, you can seriously damage your engine that way.

That happens sometimes on the skidpad, to disastrous results. You're usually supposed to do no more than 5 rotations in the same direction to avoid that.

Hmmm I guess the fuel line theory might explain it. And, I took breaks between runs and it just happened on the last one when I stalled out in second gear. So I don't think the oil would be a problem, hopefully.

The gas gauge reading is expected too. During hard acceleration or uphill, the gas in the tank tilts back and the sensor reads low, and the gauge shows it. The reason that it took a while for the gauge to come back up even after the gas had leveled back is some kind of filtering. The manufacturer probably just want to error on the low side, and hence put a delay in reporting the recovery of gas level. If you pay attention next time while you accelerate hard out of a corner, you will see it is happening all the time.

Oh, Struan forgot to mention that after 5 rotations in either direction, the back side of your bladder will also complain about the extra pressure compared to the front. And to avoid that, you can uh...

Ya very true struan about the oil and gas.
I read about the new M5 and it's incredible launch capability. The engine has two oil pumps built to pump the oil from the back of the engine to the front to keep equal distribution of oil for all 5 pairs of cylinders.
