Default I didn't put oil in my car?

I just feel like a moron. I have had my '04 G35 coupe sitting for somewhat long maybe last fall. At first for so long to where I had to get the battery jumped, but now I start it everyday.. I think I might have even been late on the oil change before it went to 'sleep'

I went to drive it maybe a month ago and it sounded like a broken gokart. If I put oil in it would that fix the entire issue or have I damaged the car beyond repair?

Thanks for any help.

How would it be the axle? Any tips on draining it? Another bad question, where can I rent a jack?

If I drain and fill it with oil (going to fill it with purple power oil) and there are no shavings am I good to go? I'm trying to sell this thing.

If no shavings you may be ok. I'd check the spark plugs too. Jack stands are fairly cheap at AutoZone and Walmart.

Does the car only sound like a go-kart when going or at idle to? I wouldn't buy some super expensive oil if it's blown up just buy mobil 1 full synthetic 5w30 an a oil filter that fits your car an you drain the oil on the oil pan if you have never done it before I would let someone mechanical inclined do it or show you how to do it an you can buy jack an jack stands an walmart pretty cheap or just buy the black ramps they sale (this would be easier if you just plan on doing oil changes)

If you don't have a jack, you should have the car towed to a mechanic for an inspection before you possibly do something to damage the car more than you may have already done.

Yeah because he doesn't sound mechanically inclined to be messing with it
