Default Need some buying advice

I want an auto g35 without all the options. I went to a dealer and they said the cheapest one they could get within 12 states was with the premium package. They dropped the price $2000. Its a good deal but I'm having trouble justifing spending $35000 (total price with tax and all). Is it worth it to get the deal on the 04 premium package, with a bunch of stuff I dont need, or wait for the 05? Also I talked a Pontiac dealer down to $27500 for an 04 GTO. Is this a better deal than getting the Infiniti marked down $2000?

the g35 is an awsome car, get it. it'll be well worth the money and nothing else can really compare for the money.

Being harsh [] ... it seemed like silly question.

With the markup between the 04's and the 05's, and the dealer taking 2k off - its almost like getting the premium package for free. The premium package will help the resell, of course the car being a year newer will help the resell and the 05's have a bit more power. All-in-all though, the 04 seems like a good deal ...

The GTO is getting generally poor reviews, but its a good light to light racer - seems like a different kind of car. Asking a bunch of people that could have bought either, and bought the G seems a bit ...

To each his own though.

I had such a hard time finding a coupe with nothing in it that i gave up. If your looking for an 04 model you must definity wouldnt find a coupe without the premium package. Also they like to add other stuff liek satalite/ body molding/ etc which will raise the price too.

THey added like 800 dollars worth of stuff to the car i wanted (satelite/body side molding/ trunk mat/ splash guards) i dont want any of that. THat 800 dollars is a lot of money thats basically spend on nothing. I didnt want the preium package either. I killed the deal cause of the premium package and accessories they added.

This is what im doing which i think is your best route to go since im basically in the same boat as you. Get quoted for an 05 coupe and since its brand new they may have some stripped down versions of them. Hopefully you could get one. If not then suck it up and make a deal for an 04 model but you probably wont do better then 35,000 grand since they only seem to sell them with the preium package.

Premium package is standard on the coupes I've ever seen.... and it is really nice to have! The car is selling too well in the US so it is going to be hard to find one without it. The cars sell to quick out here, so the dealers know they can sell the car with extras without any effort on their part. 2K off too, your a nut not to take up that offer.... forget the Pontiac..... unless your living a bored life and like hanging out service lounges all the time!!!
